Itinerary

Day 01

Breakfast at your hotel

Morning transfer from your hotel in Cusco to the train station. 2 hour train ride to Machupicchu. Reception and transfer to hotel/hostel.

Afternoon free in Machupicchu town.

In the evening guide will meet you to arrange activities for the 2nd day.

Optional: Go to hot spring pools nearby the town. Ten minute walking from town.

Day 02

Breakfast at hotel.

5:30am Is the first bus up to Machupicchu to see the sunrise.

They open Machupicchu at 06:00am.

Two hour Guided visit in the Historic Sanctuary of Machupicchu.

After that the guide will leave you to explore and take more pictures of the site. Whenever you decide take the bus down to the train station in Machupicchu town.

Afternoon train return to Ollantaitambo train station and bus transfer to Cusco.
